A Conversation With Tony Hutti

Biography

Tony Hutti brings over 40 years of leadership and management experience and has been the CEO / Owner of five separate companies.

Tony is a graduate of Southern Illinois University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and the University of Notre Dame where he earned a Master of Business Administration. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Indiana, Illinois and Missouri. These 35+ years have been focused on Mid-Sized companies from $5 mm to $250 mm in revenue and 25 to 1,000 employees.

Tony began his business experience at Arthur Andersen, with emphasis on small and medium sized companies. For fourteen years, he held various senior controller positions with The Associates Corporation. This included the Corporate Controller for their commercial financing entity with six separate divisions and over $1 billion in assets. He was responsible for the consolidation of various existing businesses and several acquisitions. In addition, Tony directed the administration of the Associates computer operations, which supported offices from England to Japan.

For fifteen years, Tony focused on the turnaround of twelve separate companies as CEO or Advisor to CEO with sales between $1 million and $50 million. These companies are in manufacturing, service, and retail industries. Tony was an owner of three of these companies.

He currently leads CEO Peer Groups of 80 companies on problem solving and change resolution. He was the Chairman / Owner of a multi-year Inc. 500 Growth Company, plus is currently an officer of another Growth Start-up.

Tony is also a Gazelles Coach using the Tools of Verne Harnish – Rockefeller Habits. Gazelles focus on mid-sized fast growth companies.
